Remember when we thought automation would only replace jobs on the factory floor? Turns out, AI has other plans—it's coming for our MacBooks instead.

The latest from Vox shows AI isn't just targeting blue-collar roles—it's rapidly infiltrating the digital workspace. Those "future-proof" careers in journalism, coding, and financial analysis? Not looking so untouchable anymore.

Why this matters: While robots still can't craft your pour-over with barista-level precision, AI systems are mastering cognitive tasks at breakneck speed. GPT-4 isn't just helping with creative work—it's often producing stuff that's as good as (or better than) what humans make.

Are we witnessing the end of knowledge work? Probably not. Like previous tech revolutions, we're heading for transformation rather than elimination. The difference between thriving and struggling will come down to how we position ourselves alongside these tools rather than fighting against them.

Is there a silver lining? AI still can't replicate the human elements that give our work depth—intuition, relationship building, and that spark of unpredictable creativity that comes from lived experience. That being said we are trouble when it can make a good NY Pizza.

What I want to know is: How do we lean into these uniquely human strengths while making AI our collaborator instead of our replacement?

What's your take? Are you finding ways to dance with the robots, or are you feeling the pressure of Arnold showing up saying "I'll be back"? If he does come back he better bring back my red stapler.
